Aavolyn # 21011-31352-004, Cast Iron TY495 Wiper Ring Set


The Type 495 wiper assembly consists of two (2) AAVOLYN Type 314 wiper rings and (1) AAVOLYN Type 313 wiper ring. The AAVOLYN standard wiper Type 313 utilizes a true tapered stripping edge as part of the normal wiper ring configuration. This tapered edge, comparable to that used in oil rings for power cylinders, strips the oil effectively off the rod surface. This feature combined with the additional wiping problems in the field for gas gathering applications. The rings fit in a standard wiper groove and do not require modification of the wiper gland.
It consists of single and double lug wipers.
